Opening Dua

بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ. الحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ العَالَمِينَ، حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الوَكِيلُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا باللَّهِ العَلِيِّ العَظِيمِ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَبْرَأُ مِنْ حَوْلِي وَقُوَّتِي إِلَى حَوْلِكَ وَقُوَّتِكَ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيْكَ بِالصَّلَاةِ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، عَبْدِكَ وَنَبِيِّكَ وَرَسُولِكَ سَيِّدِ المُرْسَلِينَ، صَلَّى اللَّهُ تَعَالَى وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ، امْتِثَالًا لِأَمْرِكَ وَتَصْدِيقًا لَهُ وَمَحَبَّةً فِيهِ وَشَوْقًا إِلَيْهِ وَتَعْظِيمًا لِقَدْرِهِ، وَلِكَوْنِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَهْلًا لِذَلِكَ، فَتَقَبَّلْهَا مِنِّي بِفَضْلِكَ، وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ، وَوَفِّقْنِي لِقِرَاءَتِهَا عَلَى الدَّوَامِ بِجَاهِهِ عِنْدَكَ، وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ.

Praise belongs to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Allah is enough for me and the best Protector. There is no power nor strength except by Allah, the High, the Immense. O Allah, I relinquish my power and strength in favour of Your power and Your strength. O Allah, I draw near to You by the prayer on Sayyidina Muhammad, Your slave, Prophet and Messenger, the Master of the Messengers, may Allah Almighty bless him and grant him and all of them peace. I do so in obedience to Your command, affirming him, loving him, yearning for him and respecting his worth and the fact that he, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is worthy of that. Accept it from me by Your grace and make me one of Your righteous slaves. By his rank with You, give me success in reading it (Dala'il Al Khayrat) continuously. May Allah bless Sayyidina Muhammad and his family and all his Companions.

أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ العَظِيمَ (3)

I ask Allah for forgiveness (3).

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا باللَّهِ العَلِيِّ العَظِيم (3)

Glory be to Allah, Praise be to Allah. There is no god except Allah. Allah is the Greatest. There is no power nor strength except by Allah the Lofty, the Great.

حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الوَكِيلُ (3)

Allah suffices me and he is the best Protector.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ. بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ. ﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ . اللَّهُ الصَّمَدُ . لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ . وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ﴾(3)

I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Say (O Beloved): He is Allah, the One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him. (3 times)

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴿قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ . مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ . وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ . وَمِن شَرِّ النَّفَّـٰثَـٰتِ فِى ٱلْعُقَدِ . وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ ﴾ بِسْمِ اللَّـهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴿قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ . مَلِكِ النَّاسِ . إِلَـٰهِ النَّاسِ . مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ . الَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ النَّاسِ . مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ﴾

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Say (O Beloved): I seek refuge with the Lord of the Dawn. From the mischief of created things; From the mischief of Darkness as it overspreads; From the mischief of those who practise secret arts; And from the mischief of the envious one as he practises envy. In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Say (O Beloved): I seek refuge with the Lord and Cherisher of Mankind. The King of Mankind, the God of Mankind - from the evil of the sneaking whisperer, who whispers into the hearts of Mankind, among Jinns and among men.

﴿بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ . الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَـٰلَمِينَ . الرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ . مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ . إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ . اهْدِنَا الصِّرَٰطَ الْمُسْتَقِيمَ . صِرَٰطَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّآلِّينَ ﴾

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; Most Gracious, Most Merciful; Master of the Day of Judgment. Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. Show us the straight way, the way of those on whom Thou hast bestowed Thy Grace, those whose (portion) is not wrath, and who go not astray.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَـٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ ﴿ الٓمٓ . ذَٰلِكَ الْكِتَـٰبُ لَا رَيْبَ ۛ فِيهِ ۛ هُدًى لِّلْمُتَّقِينَ . الَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَيُقِيمُونَ الصَّلَوٰةَ وَمِمَّا رَزَقْنَـٰهُمْ يُنفِقُونَ . وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبْلِكَ وَبِالْآخِرَةِ هُمْ يُوقِنُونَ . أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ ﴾

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Alif. Lam. Meem. This is the Book; In it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah; Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them; And who believe in the Revelation sent to thee, and sent before thy time, and have the assurance of the Hereafter. They are on true guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.
